Installing 222k receiver and a 1000.4

2 questions: #1 All the programing for my location is on 61.5. Can I set all the alignment readings just for 61.5 or do I also need to align for 72.5 as well?

#2. Since I do not have a home distribution box, I need to run a cable from the 222k to TV2, but the instructions in the booklet don't indicate where on the receiver this cable needs to be attached. I assume the TV2 cable will be attached to the cable in area on the back of the TV.

1000.4?

if all your programming is on the 61.5, then all you need is a single head (LNB) dish 300 antenna. you don't need a 1000.4

RG-6 cable from Home Dist. connection on the back of the receiver to TV2. obtw if all your programming that you receive is on 61.5 what ever dish antenna you have peak it for that satellite. Hope this helps

If you are going to only shoot the 61.5 then you will need a dish pro dual LNBF and run 2 lines from the ports on the dual to the 2 sat input ports on the 222k.
But more than likely there will be some programing you are paying for on the 72 and 77.
The 1000.4 is a dish pro plus lnb and will allow you to run one line to a separator located at the back of the rcvr.

instead of running a line from the box to tv2 you can buy diplexers from radio shack, this will combine/seperate satellite and uhf/vhf signals on one line. but thats a little more complicated. home dist port on back of box directly to the back of the tv2. check the modulator on the receiver and tune the tv to that channel default should be air 60 or cable 73
