Installation question

How close does the switch(DP+44) have to be to the LNBF?
I want to leave my switch in my basement with my distribution equipment and run cable up and out to my satellite LNBF's. (+-150 feet)

I don't know the answer to this but would consider trying it first. The only place I wouldn't but the switch is in a hot attic.
I'm wondering about the cable length. The specs say that DishPro is good up to 200 feet with good quality RG6. How much farther do you have to go from the switch to your tuners?
