Installation Question

Have 2 connections (2-hr10-100s)...1 in Living Room and 1 in BR. If I wanted to add another HD receiver off 1 of the existing connections, say BR, can I split the incoming cable before the B-Band Converter (1 in to 2 out) and then add the B-Band Converters before going into each receiver (then out to 2 separate tvs) OR do I need to go a different route?

You would need a multiswitch with the 4 lines ran into it from the dish. From there you can 8 outputs. 2 going to each of the HD DVRS which would then leave you 2 for the future. The BBC's are connected after the muliswich in each line of HD DVR usually at the receiver.

You can't use splitters in that configuration. For what you want to do you can't use them at all. As Nutflush has indicated you need to get a multi-switch. The Zinwell WB68 is pretty much the standard issue from DirecTV. Or you can buy one from Solid Signal | DIRECTV® Systems, HDTV Antennas, DISH Network, satellite equipment and home entertainment supplies & accessories.
