installation help

hello I need some installation suggestions my house I talked to the person who I am renting it from he said I can put my dish on the east side of the house and aim it south. is this possible to do, or do I have the dish physically sitting south to aim south? if so what can I use to put the dish on concreete slabs? if the dish has to be sitting south I will have to put it on my patio witch is made out of concreete your help would be greatly appreciated. Hank

Hello am talking about my c-band dish am wanting to aim at a fta sat to start things out this dish has a motor so not a problem there my zip code is 85716 hth Hanks

do you have a pic of the dish your planning on using, it would help.
And maybe a pic of the location.

You can put the dish anywhere around your house. It just has to point to the south and see a good portion of the Southern sky to track the satellites along the arc.
