Install new version of TNAP?

I already have a new pre-release of software that allows displaying of a signal even if not yet locked. This is great for dish aiming while looking very weak signals.

that would be awesome! That's one area where my Amiko outshines the MIO, as a blindscan will find signals even is too weak to lock on. Very convenient when "hunting" indeed!

Edision shines again. If your dish gets anywhere near a signal then the SNR starts bobbing to let you know you're near. And the two-decimal point Positioner Setup fix will be in the next set of online updates.

I just downloaded the new update for TNAP5 dated January 1, 2024.

See images below. First image shows using Positioner Setup with a locked SNR of 17.32 dB. Note the two decimal places. Second image shows same transponder with the dish not precisely aimed showing a non-locked SNR of 1.40 dB. This is a nice new feature for hobbyists trying to find weak transponders.
