I have a d500, d300 & dp34, can I move my 61.5 to 129, so I can get my locals and HD ? How do I find the sat, on my old recever I would put in my zip 43147 and get the info, the 622 say's N/A. I called dish they said the only way was to upgrade to a d1000. Is this true ? Thanks.

Ack!! Too early in the morning for me to think clearly. But here are the approximate settings for your wing-dish (300). You'll need to keep the SKEW at 90, set the EL to approximately 22 (it's only a starting point, mind ya) and swing the dish to approximately 247 degrees (compass setting).

Here's a thought, why not take advantage of the so-called distant network shutoffs that are going on in your area and see if Dish will send out a tech for free. Tons (and I do mean TONS) of people in your area weren't even subscribed to the Columbus locals and had the distants instead.
