Install 8 Receivers !!!

Okay, it's not 8 receivers per se, but I'll need 8 sat feeds for:
2/522's, 1/322, and (eventually) 1/942.

Right now I have:
2/4900's, 1/510, and 1/6000, 2 dishes picking up 110/119/61.5, SW64.
I live in New Yawk, and have had this set-up for about 4 years.

I have no idea what LNBF's I have and I'm totally confused by dual, quad dishpro etc. so I'm hoping the info above indicates what I have and someone can tell me what I'll need. I have 5 runs of RG6 to the dishes now and can easily run more.

I know the DP44 is being released ( actually, on hold now ) but I'd like to get these receivers installed while I'm still young .

You could cascade two DP34 switches. That would give 8 independent inputs.

SW64 means you have Legacy LNBFs. To use the DP34 you would have to swap everything out. There is a way to cascade two SW64's to get your 3 birds, 8 feeds.

You'll have to get up to speed tech-wise to do it.

I found the way to do it using 2 SW64's.
Is there any reason to swap out the legacy LNBF's for the future? If I eventually do get a DP44 will I need to change them?

Yes, any DP switch requires DP LNBFs, and compatible receivers, or adapters.

I don't know of any good reason for most people to swap. DPP44 with the separator might be about it.

I just thought of another good reason not to change more than I have to;
Congress forcing Charlie to go to a single dish. I know it's a ways off, but who knows what equipmnet we'll need if that happens.

Echostar has a new spot beam satellite being built right now for 110 going up the middle of next year. They should be able to pull all the wing locals on to 110. Also congress is not forcing a single dish for service, just that all your locals are on the same dish, you could have a dish for locals, and another dish (or more) for other services.
