Infrared remote control extender recommendations

I have a ViP211 in my living room connected to LCD via component video/toslink audio, and sending the HDMI to a family room one floor below.

I'd like to control the 211 from downstairs, I assume the only way is via a wireless infrared extender.

Any recommendations for a good one? Ones to avoid?

Dish Network makes a device called the IR to UHF upgrade kit that is compatible with the 211. Check out the site sponsors, they have it priced at around $50.

Thanks for the comments. I think I'll go for the NG unit, I believe in UFOs, so it can double as room decor. Seriously, should work with any unit I should want to use with it.
