Got cable I have seven tvs. Two have HD DVR. Two have normal boxes. The remaining three are feeding directly from the cable. From doing the Directv website figure out what you want it seems like it will cost the same.

My question is: will my tvs without the boxes need a directv receiver? In that regard, it will be more expensive.

Would really appreciate a reply, don't want to go through the Directv hard sale to figure out what the cost is.

If you want different programs at each TV you need receiver for each one. It about $5 a month for each additional receiver over the first one.

But DirecTV may charge an upfront cost for anything past the 4th receiver, so there is really no way to answer that question without contacting D* directly.

Beyond 4 receivers basic receivers are $69.99 each for a lease upgrade fee. HDDVRs are $199 beyond the first.
