Dell is currently running a 20%-off promotion on ALL of their projectors, including their latest Dell 3400MP (DLP, 1500 ANSI Lumens, Native XGA, NTSC/PAL/SECAM/HDTV, and only 2.4 lbs!) $1119 is not a bad price for this toy, I think. I've just ordered one for business presentations on the road...

Scott, I use mine everytime I'm on days off and to watch Survivor , Big Brother and SciFi Friday on... the X1 has the faroudja chip (not proper spelling)... I even take mine camping paid $1,000 for mine a year and a half ago... Note this add has the soft case , these have not been offered I think in awhile(I have one). The X1 looks good with 1080i inputed as well as 480p ... I have mine hooked to a Replay a panny dvd player and a P4 3 gig ht pc...
