InFamous

Well I beat this game last night being "good". Time to go back and beat it being "evil" now. I really enjoyed the game. It was fast paced enough that it stayed interesting and I liked the variety. I'd give it a 8 out of 10.

If you liked inFamous, you should check out Prototype.
Here's a quasi-comparison of the two:

Yeah, rofl, meant to post that.

They're very similar with some big differences. In inFamous you kinda of labor to run around teh city, slowly jumping up the side of buildings grabbing every ledge and whatnot, while in Prototype you go running up the sides and glide away going full speed. It's a lot of fun if you can get used to the targeting and stuff.

Because Prototype is on my PC is probably the only reason I beat it before I have done the same with inFamous (which I havent played in a couple weeks).

I rarely finish games anymore though, I have gaming ADD. If I don't finish inFamous this weekend before NCAA 10 comes out I probably wont till Christmas :p

Only other game I've beaten this year is HAWX.

I'll give Uncharted another shot eventually, the game is gorgeous, but yeah... it embodied all the reason I never played the Tomb Raider games, just not a puzzle guy.

...it's worth getting past that submarine because the story picks up after that part. Besides, as far as the puzzles go, that's what Gamefaqs.com is for.

Yeah, what he said. Don't let the first three chapters guide your opinion of the game - it changes drastically starting with Chapter 4, which is the same chapter that's on the downloadable demo. I look at 1-3 as an extended tutorial and story setup. The game really starts with Chapter 4 and only gets better from there.
