Puro, I wasn't trying to imply anything of the sort. I'm a rabid F1 fan, so the open-wheeled race cars are my favorites. I took the family to Michigan last year to watch teh IRL race there and it was pretty kool watching these carbon-fiber missles shoot by at 200+mph not more than 60 feet away (good seats!). However, I prefer road courses to driving around in circles, which is why I've never paid to go see a NASCAR race but have attended the Cleveland GP and the US Grand Prix in Indy.
Having said that, though, it is fun to pay your $8 and watch the action at the local 1/8-mile racetrack with the Sportsman & Thundercar series. But it's more of a guilty "hoo-eee, that car blooed-up good!" pleasure since there tends to be more "incidental" contact at this level...
