Image posting too big and obnoxious

I don't have any use for it either, but I'm not so narcissistic as to post my every thought on my page. Some of my friends drive me crazy posting and reposting everything they see and think. It's like a publicly viewable diary. Gag. I never kept a diary either.

Why one would prefer this.......

Because bigger is better.

I have a very slow IP, but prefer larger to thumbnails...

I prefer the full size as well (within reason of course). Often when I see thumbnails I do not take the time to click them.

I'm the opposite. I have fast internet, but pay for the bandwidth so large pictures gobble up my 2GB allotment

I have 3GB between my phone and my hotspot. I could get more but it's not really worth it. Only other option is satellite.

Satellite. Ugh. Yep, you're better off with what you have. Back a few years ago at my old place there were 2 choices: dial up and satellite. I stayed with dial up until they got DSL on the lines out there.

I just ran across a usage meter on Time Warner's website yesterday. I didn't think we used the amount of data that it's reporting....

June 478 gb
July 734 gb
August 371 gb

My router only reports 142 gb for the month of August though.
