Hi, so this guy offered me the Satcruiser DSR-101 plus or Satcruiser DSR 2040 with a 60 cm antenna. I live in Buenos Aires (34° 35' S 58° 29' W) and I'd like to know which satellites/channels I can get from here.
I also don't know which receiver is the best. Maybe the satcruiser 9000?
I took a look at lyngsat and it only shows 4-5 satellites for my location.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks!

Good Luck !

60cm antenna is minimum size for EIRP in Buenos Aires Ku band only, but you should try to get something bigger, 90 cm would be nice.

Satellites you can get with 60 cm dish must have EIRP of 49db and higher *
90cm dish will be perfect for EIRP of 45 db and higher**

T12 @ 15.0 w. EIRP 48 db**
NSS7@22.0w. 49 db *
Hispasat CD @30.0w. 47-48 db**
PAS 1R @ 45.0w. 51 db*
Intelsat 707 @ 53.0w. 50 db*
Amazonas @61.ow. 48db**
Estrela Do Sol @63.0w. 45-51db*
Nahuel 1 @ 72.0 w. 50db *(k1) 43db** (k3)
Anik F1 @ 107.3 w. 46 db**

Most channels will be in Spanish or Portugese, I took a look and there are some interesting channels, though if you have the room and like spanish channels C-band would be the way to go.
