I gave the kid grief. Told him that I was GOING to buy an HD DVD, but he blew it.

He offered to go take a hammer to the DVD player.

Decided to try the honest route with the wife, and tell her about the fun we have been having over this.

She isn't saying YES, but isn't saying NO either.

The problem is I need to convince her that this IS NOT the Christmas present I want; and that I want it in September, not December.
