I've been off Satellite Guys and away from my former favorite hobby of FTA satellite for several years now while going through a bad divorce. Even my satellite dishes and receivers haven't been used in years until today when I fired up my Anaconda HD receiver.

What's New? Have I missed anything? What new receiver is now popular?

Today I flipped through a few C band satellites and the picture quality is excellent compared to OTA. Would like to get back into FTA. First, I needed to get rid of the bees that have made their home inside my feedhorns. :)

Welcome back PopcornNMore!!! The two most popular receivers as of right now are the Edision Mio 4K and the Amiko Mini HD265.
The Mio is a Linux based box and the Amiko is still a more simple receiver like the one you are used to.
Both are excellent receivers! Brian at Titanium selsl the Mio and I carry the Amiko.

So how long has it been what do you remember last?
Do you still sell that great popcorn?

Hey welcome back...I remember you from when I started back in 2005! Things have changed quite a bit especially on the receiver side since then. As mentioned above both the Amiko and the Mio are very fine boxes...I have both. All depends what you want...
