All of my 1M and 1.2M came with a 3" mount...I was able to snag a 2 3/8" large mount on ebay. I remember the seller saying it was rare...so consider yourself lucky to have gotten your 1M with a 2 3/8" mount.

Agreed Ziggy. Other than that first 1 meter Channel Master (which I actually purchased from a local satellite news uplink service, so they might have changed the original mount it came with), I've never seen a 1 or 1.2 meter Channel Master with anything other than the 3" mount. I have seen many 2 3/8" mounts on the elliptical Channel Master (Primestar) dishes.
