Well, with this post I am now part of the elite group of posters with 10K + posts. I just want to say “Thanks” to everyone here who helps make this fun
I came over to Satelliteguys after the DBSTalk fiasco and just liked helping people out mostly with Dish Network. Then I found a not so new thing (but it was new to me) in free to air. Hell, I wanted it for the Canadian radio stations that were free (it was to save a few bucks on the ExpressVu bill). Little did I know about it then. Got my new box a year and a half ago with a motor and I was hooked : )
I want to thank Scott for giving us a free to air area (originally we had the General Satellite area) and allowing me to be a moderator. There is a funny story to that.
Scott almost banned all Pansat threads because at the time Pansat was really the only box that was hackable. I asked why punish the legal users (and there were a lot of us legal ones) so Scott asked me & Pete (PSB) to be mods. Took it and haven’t looked back
Thanks Scott for giving me an area to help teach people about the true meaning of free to air. (Free to steal isn’t free to air but some people think that) and to learn a lot myself.
I want to thank Pete for allowing me to learn so much from him. I met Pete here and had him install my motor on my system. I had never met Pete and never actually talked to him until he showed up at my house to install the motor. Pete did a top notch job installing it and after that we started chit chatting. He’s now one of my best buds personally and professionally.

Of those 10,000 posts half of them are NO HACK TALK messages. Just kidding!
Here at SatelliteGuys I give each and every one of our staff members the chance to take the ball and run with it, Iceberg and PSB have done that with the FTA areas and have scored a touchdown.
Sometimes I give my feedback and ideas on things to the staff and there have been times I have been told to stick it but Pete and Tony for some of my ideas, and it has only paid off for them after all they know much more about FTA then I do. (I cant even get mine working correctly... anyone want to come to CT and help me?)
The funny thing about Iceberg is he does not have Internet access available at home, so where he gets the time to write 10,000 posts plus study and remember every single porno star by face is an amazing feat!

DSL was too far away and cable wasn't an option
but now it is so I might get cable modem

Now I spend more of net time only on this site! Though I started recently and I have a fixed dish, I like reading all the posts in FTA area.. Keep up the good work. Always you two are at lightening speed when it comes to helping us
