Well, after keeping an eye out at Wal-Mart for the past few weeks - I found a freshly stocked stack of the RCA digital converters. Used both of my vouchers. Simple box - but WOW! AWESOME quality picture! Now I can watch RTN from my local source (in addition to FTA) - they have some shows that are not on the Ku band RTN stations. :)

Why did you purchase the RCA vs. other brands? I have a couple of vouchers as well and need to get a unit but haven't decided on one, since the Echostar unit won't be out anytime soon...

You sign up for the vouchers with the FCC. They will give you 2 - $40 vouchers - look like a credit card. The Wal-Mart RCA's I liked becuase they have buttons on the receiver in addition to the remote. And, that is all my Wal-Mart had :)
