I upgraded today!

Did anybody ever get any kind of confirmation when they upgraded to 622 and the new HD programming by phone?

I persistently e-mailed ceo@echostar.com until I got a tracking #. A 17 lb package that is supposed to be my 622 is scheduled to arrive tomorrow. Install date is 3/11. I also asked if the Dish 1000 was on my workorder, and they said it was. See this post for details on the 3 emails I sent to Dish:

I know, but I don't have a phone anymore. Cell only now.

Buy a Sipura box, configure it with a free VoIP service, and hook it up to the DVR. It'll make it happy!

Still waiting on my install. A friend of mine is interested on getting my old 625 once I get the 622 installed. Is this possible, that I could give it to him, as he is a current subscriber? He has a 301right now. Instead of shipping it back. could he call Dish and have it activated in his name, and he then just ships back his old 301?
