Dish Network called me today.

They said they could save me money on my TV bill.

I said in my best southern accent - - - "I don't pay anything for TV now"

The guy was a bit taken back and said "Well, we can - - - we can save you money on your TV bill" He didn't know what to say so he went back to his script.

So I jabbed again. "Well, I get over 500 channels and don't pay anything". Now I really had him confused! He said - - "you get 500 channels for nothing".

Again in my best southern accent - - "I had to learn Spanish, Farsi and Chinese but I get 500 channels for nothing".

At this he said "Thank you" and hung up.

I think they will cross me off their list! :up

Pizza dish sales drones are always good for a laugh. I had one tell me that D* has better PQ than Blu-Ray! :haha Sometimes you just have to stare at them blankly while they ramble on, then walk away...

That IS funny, but also indicates that most people [even E* and D* employees] don't realize there are alternatives to free OTA that's worth every cent you pay for it, or pay cable or pay satellite.

Once you have a FTA setup, you almost never go back to a pay for setup. Both major providers loose a ton of customers every year to "churn" from p*ss poor customer service.
