The software for 1080p is not available as of yet. It will be about a week before its out and before your HD DVR is really Turbo Charged.

(Although the entire Turbo Charged thing is just a silly advertising gimmick)

Then it really is ridiulous to be running a loop that says my DVR has already been turbocharged.

I'm at L512 and still getting HDNet and HDNetMovie in what I assume is MPEG-2 based on the size of about 4000 MB/Hr instead of 2.2 to 2.6 for MPEG-4. I'm getting all the new channels. I hope my attempt at Breaking Away that was in a 3000 MB/hr file of 4x3 was just a mix up on Encore.

I switched 94xx to low numbers but cannot lock out 94xx because then old recordings are locked.
Hoping to replace some MPEG-2 recordings with MPEG-4 to free space likely to be use by SD->HD.

What about those of us with mpeg4 receivers that aren't DVR's (ViP 211 or ViP 222), any shot at us being "Turbo Charged"?

Maybe the software is not being rushed, since AFAIK no one posting on this forum has it yet. But the "Turbocharged" announcement certainly was rushed, for the same reason
