I see Sat 91 but no others

Hello,

I am trying to set up a Dish 500, and the only satellite I am seeing is 91.
I move over 19 degrees and find no 110 or further no 119. I put it on 91 and it's there nice and strong. I am using a satellite finder after trying to use a 322 receiver with no luck. The 322 does find 91 nice and strong though.

Any Suggections?

91? Why are you on 91? DISH does not operate any satellites at the 91 degree orbital location. Those are ExpressVu satellites.

What you are on is BellExpressVU I hope that your 322 does not have virgin software. If it downloads VU's software, you will be in for trouble. You are more than likely aiming too high.

Yes, if you are seeing 91 then you need to adjust both the elevation AND the azimuth, as others have suggested.

I am only on 91 because that seems to be the only satellite I can find, period.

I have raised and lowered the elevation and as well as the azimuth, and the only satellite I seem to be able to find is 91 (BellExpressVU).

I was wondering if I had a problem with my lnb's? It's a DishPro quad.

No matter what I do I can't seem to get a hit on 110 or 119.

Any insight?

use your receiver to find the right settings for your dish, level your mast, set your dish, and anything else is a LOS problem.

Bell express vu uses DISH equipment so your receiver and LNB is working but you DO NOT WANT TO DOWNLOAD software from BEV it will trash your 322. LOS is a Line Of Sight problem which you seem to have.

I'm new to forums altogether so sorry if I do this wrong...heres my gig...I can only get satelite 82 and can't get 91....what sucks is every channel I go to says "need subscribtion"...how do I find 91? please help...cause Bell sure won't..the beauty of living in a communist monopoly...

while I'm on here...does anyone know how I can pay for a direct tv? your channels kick our ass's...I don't want to steal I want to pay..but our country won't let us watch american dish's ...I don't really care what they say but I can't seem to get a legit direct tv without an american s.i.n...any tips?
