I Need Some info on a couple of things!!

I'm not that new to satellites but there one Acronym that just throws me of. What is OTA and what is it good for?
Another question is that before I moved to E* I used to get my local channels from San Francisco Bay Area and the Monterey Penunsula locals I mean all of them I had double channels sometimes and when I switched I was gettin only certain feeds. The question is if I could call E* to have them sign me up for the Bay Area locals? I've also hear that I could change my service address if so what do I have to do? I've also heard for some of the channels from the Bay Area I need a second dish? I'm really confused on these subjects.

OTA is "Over the Air"
in some areas you can pick up the digital, sometimes HD, signal from your local tv stations with an ota antenna
