I need an experts opinion on this

My signal strength varies greatly between the 5 sats I receive on my slimline dish . I get all of my channels but some of these signal strenths are very marginal. My location is 72015 Benton Arkansas.

This is viewing the signal strength meter

119 100%
110 91%
103C 58%
101 95%
99C 53%
99S 74%

Why is 101 good but 99 and 103 not so good? At first I thuoght it was trees but now I'm not so sure. Opinions? Thanx

did you check more than one transponder on the 103c and 99c? are they all at or in the area of 58?

Yea, they all seem to be within 5% of each other

It looks like you could use a tweak/alignment of your dish for higher Ka signal numbers, 99 & 103 the ones with 14 transponders.

If it's not that it could be a LNB or BBC problem,my trick knee says alignment.


101 is a easy target,99 & 103 not so easy.

As does my trick wrist and elbow! OP, have you checked the dish to make sure the post is plumb and the bolts are all tight? Also, check the cable connections.

yep, me too. i would do this myself. it only needs a minor tweak.
