Coming back to Dish after 2 years w/D*. Install happening as we speak. 1 Hopper/1 Joey, hopefully via HIC and also got a Sling adapter. Little worried about the problems I've been seeing with connectivity and freezing issues, but hoping for the best. Installer is giving me a hard time on the HIC as I write. Straight up live updates here. I'm pushing for it, we'll see what happens. Either way, it's been a while since I've been here and the site seems better than ever! Rock on guys!

Kinda chapped that I got taken for $30 for the Sling adapter when installer said they give them free to any customer who asks for one. Already paid for mine...arg!

Not true, they were $99 and had a $99 rebate. Much easier to pay $30 and be done.

Interesting. He told me they just give them to customers and if I hadn't prepaid for it, he would've just given it to me. Maybe he didn't realize they were "given away" via rebate.
