Well, after fussing with my system, getting it peaked, dead on USALS, and I got 30w. Well, 2 weeks later, I need to bump my motor by 1 bump on all satellites to get max signal, and I lost 30w :( 30w MIGHT be gone due to the fact that my neoghbor's tree is getting leaves on it. SO, I am going to get the spare Primestar out and go hunting :)

You can do it , you've done it once already in fact you can get an idea by just eyeing the dish and where it's pointing at , and as you say if it's a tree that's leafing in spring , there are probably a bunch of angles and possibilities so keep hunting.

Yeah you will find it:)

does it have to do with the winds we had recently? I know on the CS5000 each satellite was off by one nudge after those winds this past weekend :)

the winds actually lifted up my C-Band dish that is BOLTED TO A TABLE WITH 210 POUNDS OF SAND ON and shifted it a good 5-6 degrees west. I was like "oh sh*t" as I watched it shift

RVD has seen the dish & table so he'll know what I'm talking about ;)

It sure could. It was darn windy. I will be working 2nd next week and then 3rd the week after, so I might have some time to play. I might just leave it for awhile. I hate to have to re-adjust every time the wind blows :)

Damn.

Atleast the dish didn't take a dive off the deck.

thats what I was worried about. I watched it wiggle and when the table jumped I seruiously thought it was going over the back of the deck

I was able to get 30W one time about two years ago in the dead of winter. As soon as the first leaf popped out on the neighbor's tree it was gone.
