And searching this Forum will show a “How to” on using Linux to make “unlimited” copies of EHD events. I put “unlimited” as I have better things to do with my time than make an infinite number of copies of a program that can only be viewed on the Hopper & Joey(s) on my account.
This is simply another way to create a redundant version of my EHD to guard against data loss, like a RAID, but off-line. It’s also how I move programs to a larger EHD and works for both flavors of Dish EHD support. And I find it to be faster as well.
