I know this is probably a stupid question

However, I like many of you, come Feb.1st, will be going to one of the turbo packages. I have a VIP 622 & 625. Will the HD programming appear, on the 625, though in standard definition, or will I have to get another HD receiver?

Nope HD channels will not show up on a SD receiver.

What they said. You must have an HD receiver to get the HD channels.

You can hook up the HD receiver to regular TVs though and get good quality standard TV signal.
