I just got a sammy 1400 BD

I picked up one at best buy for $300. the first thing I did was upgrade the firmware. I also notoced that in most of the jewel cases it states that you msy have to upgrade the firmware. So far so good, I do enjoy it.

$300 today? Was it open box? Either way, decent price and it appears they have worked many of the early bugs out of this model.

yes it was $350 open box with a $50 I got for christmas.
