Please be kind as I attempt to ask my question...

I have an existing system, a 301 (replaced the 2800) and a 811, both being fed by a Dish 1000 DP Plus Twin LNBF. The installation was simple, two receivers, two places to connect each of the receivers to the LNB.

Now, my 16 year old son has asked me if there is a way to add the 2800 back into the mix, and obviously, set it up in his room...

I have read about the SW64, the DP34 and the DPP44. I have tried to figure out when or when not to put inline splitters or power injectors into the mix.

I have no clue as to how to get the 2800 wired in...

If anyone can help, I would certainly be appreciative of their input.

Thanks

Ron

To feed 3 receivers, you'll need a switch. You should get a DPP44 switch so you won't need a legacy adapter for the 2800 receiver. If you go with a DP34, you'll need a Legacy adapter for the 2800 receiver.

You will need three cable runs from the LNBs to the switch, and a cable run to each receiver from the DPP44.
