Thanks Bill_KY

I guess I should go to dishpointer.com and print out the results for a few sats before I leave. Once I get up there I won't have any internet service.

So I'll try 97W, 125W...any others?

I need more dishes to try more satellites, Oh yes you need to manually ADD 125West KU to your receiver. It is a new satellite. Your Visionsat will only show 125W C in the menu. 125W KU is a new satellite.

Please read the thread below regarding 125W Ku

Dennis,

Other good sats would be 72W (NBC mux), 83W (RTV), 101W (Hotel)......heck, there is something on all of them at times.

You might want to print out a bunch of info from The List, as well as dishpointer. SatAv also has a nice app where you can print out your az/el/skew info for your location.

GeoSatFinder - Satellite Finder Calculator - Satellite AV

As far as your firmware is concerned I think I would load v1.45, I believe that is the latest factory fw.

You will find v1.45 and installation instructions in this thread:
