I Got Channels - Damaged 8' Dish Part III




Wind blew the 8' damaged dish around on the pole . Turned it back around . Ran another wire into the house for the accuator sensor & hooked up the GUI 2730 .

BAM ! I got analog channels ! From AMC 10 to AMC 3 !

Great picture !

Running the master auto peak menu now .

Will look for some digital latter tonight or tomorrow .

Still have some work to do on it . Need to adjust the feedhorn on and out to peak that .

cats on dish

Hey wyr, here's a good one, i have two tabbies (cats). When they go outside to play, if my dish is pointed at G-11, the bottom of the dish is very close to my privacy fence. My cats enjoy laying on the bottom curve of the dish.

Two 10+ pound kittys is good for about -10 percent signal quality or so-LOL.

They really hate it when i swing to amc-8 , that's when they slide off.

Congrats Wyr, I remember very well when i got my first signals on my c-band dish, it felt awesome to know i had done the whole install myself, and it even worked :-D
