I got an all-in-wonder card that sends signals to and from the pc and tv. I can see tv on the pc and see the computer monitor on the pc. Suppossedly it can export sound via component outs too, but I find that to be a hassle that doesn't work, at least not for my setup... probably becuse I'm using old analog vcrs... a bad component wireing, the wrong drivers or something weird like that...

Anyways, I finally got sick of trying to make the components work, and bypassed all of that and now send sound to the living room through a bunch of 20 foot speaker extension cords strung together that goes in to the line in on the Creative Soundblaster Audigy that I use to pull dolby sound out of the Pansat. I use a y connector that's suppossed to bring two speaker signals in to one speaker in reverse - sending one signal out to two speakers... so the line out from computer goes to both the audigy and to the speaker up by the computer.

You can get the extension cords at radio shack for about 8.00 a piece and can get an older aiw card online at ebay for about 30.00. I usually keep the audigy's line in unplugged until I want to send something from the computer to the tv...

Plus, even if you don't do the monitor out stuff, you can do the line out to an audigy (or extra computer speaker next to your fta receiver) and have internet radio in your setup... so not only are ya getting fta radio and tv, you are getting internet radio and possibly tv too if you use a graphics card's out.

I love it because I can now listen to fta and internet radio and/or tv in every floor of our house! :)
