I cancelled my HD package today

I did not get into Century City till it was almost over, wouldn't mind watching it again...I think Universal HD has it...

BFG, you think 6 SD's are tight? Dish crams up to 13 on a transponder and it shows. When Portland first started receiving locals from Dish, they looked fabulous because only the 7 Portland stations were up there, then they added 5 from Eugene and OMG! what a degredation of PQ. You could easily see the compression smearing on faces, they looked like morphing Silly Putty with no features.

I was actually shocked one day when I tuned in our local news on an Analog channel and this gal I had been watching via Dish for a long time actually had freckles. LMAO.

Not possible, HD and SD can't be mixed. 3 HD is the max for any sat.

Actually it's not pretty but it is possible. Voom is pushing the limits. The configuration is 3 HD channels and 6 SD Channels.

The way I configured this is that they say the 2 transponders they have temporary authority for are being used for Starz and Showtime. So two transponders, two plus packs containing 3 HD channels and 6 SD channels.
