There for a few nights (3) I was slowed way down, 40Kbps down about 20kbps up. I was not under FAP, nor did I have any issues with rain fade etc... then system went back up to normal. So I think a lot of issues is related to Hughes end.
During this time, I was reading over at testmy.net, and many people were having same issues, no certain satellite or transponder. However, my issues only lasted for 3 days, and others complained of issues that had gone on for a month or more and then came back after a month or so etc... So I would expect it to be issues with hughesnet.
Also, noticed that original transponder I was on when I first signed up (just over 2 years ago) has been changed to different one, sometime around first part of November. It may be that they are moving everyone around and re-calibrating things, and it just so happens because you have the hughesnet modem, they aren't finished on your satellite and transponder.
