Hughes GAEBOA box

Hi everyone! I need some info and direction. I have two Hughes GAEBOA boxes, they are old but work great, My question is about on the back is a RF REMOTE input. I believe this is where I could plug a remote RF sensor, but I'm not sure what the exact tech name is to look for and where to find it. We have what looks to be a stick up IR sensor on the boat I work on and the receiver box is out of sight, but my box it says RF REMOTE on the back!! Please Help, I'm trying to install my boxes out of sight also!

You may be better off just trying to find an aftermarket rf remote converter.

I be;ieve it was referred to as a shark fin antenna that was used in combination with RF remote. Hughes is so long out of production that Ebay would probably be your only source. There are many RF and IR adapters available for around $30 that you will be better off buying one of them.
