Hello everyone,

I have a Twinhan 1025 card in a pc in my bedroom. I have been using it to record shows (via timers). In the living room I have had the satworks receiver. Now I am getting to the point where I want a full blown htpc in the living room.

So on to the point,

What is the best software (Freeware) media center to use with the Twinhan Dvb-s cards? I noticed that GB-PVR works with them (although the question is still out there on wither or not the remote works). Does anyone here use it full time?

I have also noticed the ProgDvb and MyTheater but I am really wanting a more rounded product (for dvd's, pictures, etc). I have been using a normal pc as a htpc and it works pretty good but I am going for more of a media center type approach. I am also being cheep on this so I am hoping to use freeware if possible (geez I dont ask for much do I :D )

I am not interested in HD right now (simply because I have no access to good HD content). So SD only at the moment.

So,
What do you use on your htpc?
