I've noticed that on the HR44 some of the channel logos are slightly different than on all my other receivers. Channels like A&E & Disney. Not that it's a big deal but shouldn't they be all the same?

IIRC, the Genies SW is it's own from scratch version, granted they look similar to the other DVR's. I think there are slight differences.

I noticed that my HR44 has some different channel logos than my old HR34 - the ones you mentioned and others too. And FX FXX FYI and BET have logos where they did not before.

The only thing I notice are that posters keep changing once in a while in the playlist, especially movie posters I have recorded
as to logos it all depends on latest SW for any receivers, although from what i've seen, Genie usually adds or update channel logos first before the rest of the HR2x receivers do, if they have the latest SW.

All I can think of is that the logos are copyrighted trademarks. Things that most take for granted, like fonts, shapes, proportion, placement, color, etc are all legal representations of network properties. So there shouldn't be that much deviation from unit to unit, unless the older units are storing different versions of or older trademarked logos.

From what I can see on Disney for example. On my HR24 it has the new updated channel logo were the HR44 has the old Mouse Ears logo. I'm assuming it's all in the software.
