This morning I got a call apologizing for the difficulities Tuesday/Wednesday with boxes freezing, and telling me they are working hard to fix the problem. They also said if a box freezes or the remote stops working, to reset the box.

I figured no big deal, they are just calling everyone to apologize for Wednesday's lockups.

That was until 3:45pm ET today, when all three of my HR20/HR21 boxes stopped responding to remote commands. They still played or had the screen saver on, but would not accept any commands.

I just reset them all, but can't help thinking: Here we go again. :(

Anyone else getting calls or having any lockups today?

Since the updates on Tues or Weds I cannot watch a previously recorded program. We get halfway to three quarters the way through and it just locks up.

Just got the apology call on my answering machine shortly after 1:30pm PST. I've had D for about one and a half months and have had 5-6 lockup/problems on my HR22-100.

Once I got an all black screen when turning on no matter what channel. Once I lost reception on 1 tuner, and once when I was playing a recording and all went black. The rest were lockups no response to remote or front panel. A reset always fixed the problem.

My additional H21-100 in my bedroom has been problem free (knock on wood). It's been about 24 hours since my last D update on the HR22-100, and I'm crossing my fingers that the lockup and other problems are gone now. I still like D better than Time Warner cable.

I got the call a few hours ago. Everything is fine here so far.
