My initial reaction after an hour of testing - the remote response is MUCH BETTER! This has been a major frustration for a few weeks now for me (double keys, missed keys, hold button waiting). Channel changes are very fluid on the release.

I don't use closed captions, so subtitles isn't something I would use, but I looked at it anyway.

Appears to be the same info as closed caption, just in yellow text with no background instead of the typical white text with black background.

Not sure it is anything special, but somebody may appreciate it.

What are they talking about with "bookmarks"? Are they refering to the way you can add jump to spots to recorded shows or is it something else?

recording playback is choppy and loses sound on my HR20-100. Unless there is a prob with the recording.

Update 032C problem

After upgrading software on my HR21-200 before I went to bed all seemed well. This morning I went to watch Showtime on-demand Season 3 Dexter episodes 1-6 HD that were downloaded before the update and all but the first episode had been removed from the hard drive. I can only assume the software update caused this somehow. Not a big problem, as long as it doesn't happen to all I have recorded for later viewing. Jay

VOD's have an expiration date, is this possibly what happened? Check the history screen to see if it tells you why they were deleted.

Anybody know what "Audio selection on ATSC channels" is about?

On an OTA station, hit the yellow button, there is an Audio Options menu.

I see English 1 and English 2 on the station I tried.

Trying English 2 just gave an anoying buzz, that could have been the station though.

I'm guessing it is a feature for SAP audio.

SPOKE TOO SOON. The next morning the remote is back to being very slow, even entering channel numbers is not fluid and takes several tries. Sometimes have to press the button two or three times before it takes it. Tried two remotes.

back key inexplicably doesnt work sometimes, but its been that way through many Ce's

Make up a diagnostics report and send it to D* and post it here, if they see enough people complaining about laggy remotes,maybe they will do something about it.

The Remotes have been this way for a LOOOOONG time now.
