So far this CE is much improved from last week. menus are fast and guide speed is better. it will improve even more in the next few days. i like the game swap change for the DLB's. makes sense since like i mentioned last week,i only see myself using this for sports. widgets are working as well. will report any issues I find.

Startup time from standby has improved a lot. My unit turns on in 2 seconds now where it was taking around 10 seconds to turn on after last weeks CE.

Unfortunately some of us used it for other things like watching multiple news channels so , at least for me, its not really what I'd necessarily call an improvement. I guess at least now I can "sound" like a jock, hehe.

Also I miss the "Toggle Tuners" option in the yellow button menu. I could understand relocating the option below the CC choice because of ppl that were complaining it was messing up their 3rd party remote macros but still wish it hadn't been totally eliminated

I dl'd the ce on both my hr22's but just got around to messing with them today. I enable widgets on one and messed with it for a while. Went upstairs to enable it on the other and can't. I get MRV enabled and working fine on both, just no widgets on one.
If I make any headway, I'll let you know.

i think the toggle between tuners function might have been slowing down the dvr.

Problem with Media Share Video Streaming:

Using either TVersity or PlayOn Video streaming fails to work. Music streams fine but if I choose to stream a video either from my HD or from the internet with either program I cannot stream Video. The steps followed are:

• Go into Music Video & More
• Select my Computers then either service Tversity or PlayOn
• Select either a local or Internet Video file
• Initially get mssg " Streaming "video name"
• Screen stays black for a while then bottom bar appears saying streaming
• After a short period of black screen system pops back to the Video list and displays
the following mssg:

"Video Recording of (name of file) exceeds the maximum bit rate supported
by Media Share"

Have tried various settings in both Tversity and PlayOn and been unable to play any video file. Audio files stream just fine tho. This problem 1st appeared with last weeks CE and continues with the current CE. Otherwise CE seems much better than last weeks as far as Remote response etc.

I'm having the same problem while using TVersity... Whenever I try to play a video files I get "Video Recording of (name of file) exceeds the maximum bit rate supported by Media Share"

Seems its something that was introduced in the last CE which was the one where they supposedly added improvments to TVersity subfolder playback, see CE notes "03 - MediaShare: Tversity subfolder playback . "

I initially thought perhaps it was an issue over a newer version of Vista Codec Pkg I had installed but seems many others are having the same problem so now I'm not sure what happened. Prior to last weeks CE TVersity Pro was working great

I lose the back button after awhile of viewing on the HR20-100 until I push "guide" again. Using MRV between my HR20-100 and my HR21-100, viewing and 30 sec skip is much faster when viewing on the HR20 using the HR21 as the server. Going the other way is much slower.

I d/l'd this week's ce, but not last week. I can't get the dlb to work. Should I be able to?
