HR21 Hard Drive Noise?

I just picked up a new HR21 and every 30 secs or so I hear the hard drive make an anoying whine noise.
Does anyone else hear this? Please confirm this should not be and I should bring it back to best buy?

I would have to say the drive shouldn't be "whining" every 30 seconds. You pretty much shouldn't even hear it.

I would take it back.

Both of my HR20 machines vibrate sometimes and make a loud noise and I have to hit them to stop it.

I haven't heard a sound from my HR21 since I got it about a month ago.

I don't know what you have discovered w/ this, but for me it's the damn cover/lid of the box. My HR20-700's have never done it. But the -100 did it constantly.

Mine is a 100 and yes it is the cover. I eventually tapped it shut against the rest of the metal and it doesn't do it nearly as often.
