HR21 Front Panel Lights Not Working

I have a weird malfunction here and was wondering if anyone else has seen it and knows how to reset them. HR21-700 power light and blue circle went out and the record light is on constantly. The unit still seems to work fine and the AM21 attached to it works as advertised. But no reset or powerdown will fix it.

Any Ideas?

Sounds like a defective panel. You can try using the dimming option... press the Left and Right buttons on the front panel at the same time a few times to see if the blue ring lights up or not.
