HR21-700 Blue Ring control

Have seen information that by simultaneously pressing the < > buttons on the HR20 units ,the blue indicator ring can be dimmed or turned off. Have tried it on my HR21-700 and it does not seem to work.

Forgive me if it posted elsewhere in the forum. Have searched the site and find no info for this trick. Could someone tell me how to do it?

I don't think the HR21 is any different than the HR20 in that regard, sounds like your doing it correctly, pressing both rings at the same time ....

Answer to my question:
Held Both arrows down,
Pressed one of them to cycle through the brightness levels.....

On my HR20, I press the left arrow and then the right one to dim the light. It's easier for me that way.

I've always pushed BOTH at the same time ....
Anymore, I don't bother, it doesn't bother me anymore.
Thats said, I don't have one in the bedroom.

I keep them off on the HR20s but on the HR21 they look good.
