New features
Enhanced Channel Banner

Updated
Improved Stability

Note that a staggered release will start with a small region of users and be expanded over time. Generally it may be a few days to a few weeks before your receiver will receive the new software.

Here are pictures of what the channel banners look like. Adds a little more to the user interface, but nothing in the way of new functions yet. This could be something they may use more in the future.

This is really nice. I can't wait to play with it.

Totaly useless junk. Just anouther waste of their time and our money. To bad they couldn't work on making the units work better.

Wow, that is so awesome ... not knocking, just saying WOW. Is that the best they can do to keep my HR20-100 from clugging like a coffee pot?!?

Thanks for the screenshots. When I got up at 3am this morning, I couldn't get the yellow button on my remote to access the Directv Subtitle menu (and I use it 90% of the time.) Now, I know where the option has been moved. Unfortunately, I much prefer using the Yellow button. I had noticed the "banner" but it had appeared when I pressed the "Active" button (that I've never touched before) so I thought it was only because of that and I was looking for way to get rid of it. I still find it annoying, but if I can tolerate the odd placement of the subtitling, I suppose I will get used to it. Edit: Sorry about the lack of formatting. I did have line breaks in this and don't know what happened to them. Seems that I had run into this before in this forum, but I don't remember the details.

Personally I just hope this change is oriented on using the yellow button for future application.

both of my R22's tried to do a software download like 8 times this morning and they all failed (and both receivers were on when I woke up)

I did a force download and its still 459 on both units

Currently, the Yellow button and the INFO button do the same thing ...... Why, I have NO Idea ....
