HR20 remote doesn't work

My HR20 remote quit working today. Well, it may actually be the receiver. The remote works on the tv volume and new batteries did not help. HOwever, the HR20 does not respond. Any suggestions? Guess I should try to reset the HR20.

Reset fixed it, although the box is slow to respond. May be failing.

One of our HR20's does that on occasion where the remote is frozen & only a reset of the box fixes it. I do think that HR20 is on the brink of going as it seems to spontaneously reset on occasion too, but I haven't switched it out yet...

If those are H20-600's, many of those boxes were recalled awhile ago. DTV tech support should be able to tell you (and there should be NO reset of your comittment on a recalled box that they replace).
