I wouldn't expect another CE release for the 100(for a while at least), I think a national release isn't too far off though.

There's no other way to load the release other then from dtv???

Got my VOD working. Hooked up a wireless bridge, turned on the ethernet in the menu settings and probably about an hour later I was able to access the VOD menu. I am however unable to get to the channels the way their 5 minute tutorial says, by going to the channels in the 1000 range. I have downloaded about 10 shows and all seems to be working well. I think this will be a fairly nice addition as time goes on. Everything else on the box seems fine after the update as well.

Is the DOD free or is there a charge for those shows?

IS free. but they are shows that required pay... just like PayPerView... you can download it but if you dont watch it, you dont get charged. plus it has a dollar sign on whatever you have to pay for... almost same charges as payperview.. 3.99 , 2.99.... at the begining for early tester was 0.01.
