HR20-100 activation

I have a NIB HR20-100 that has never been used or activated. I still have the original activation card sealed in plastic bag. I see many ads in Ebay selling this unit but can this unit actually be activated and used today or it junk ? Tks

If it has ever been tied to an account, No it cannot.

What is NIB ?

Its very old and I'm not sure if they would activate it or not, probably on an existing account they may.
I doubt they would if you were starting an account with it.
They would surely want you to start with a Genie of some sorts.

I would rather see u use an h24 or h25

You should contact Directv with the RID and ask them. They have the final say.

I have sold hundreds of receivers on eBay. Just list the RID and card numbers in the listing and sell it as it. If someone wants it they will call Directv and check.

I doubt your going to get anything for it. I can’t even get $80 for a brand new H25 with RF remote with free shipping.
