I can't seem to make 3D work on my new HR-44. My current setup. HR-44 is attached to an onkyo tx-sr608. Then the onkyo is attached to a Panasonic P60GT30. My PS3 will do 3D just fine and when I had an HR-24 connected that worked as well. But the HR-44 won't. It keeps giving me a message that says your tv does not support this programs content protection. Any ideas?

Are you using the same HDMI cables that worked with the HR24? and have you tried bypassing the Onkyo to see if it's what's causing the handshake issues?
If reset doesn't work I would second bypassing the audio receiver, often they affect the HDMI passthrough.
I am using the same hdmi cables. I will try resetting the box tonight. If that doesn't work I'll try bypassing the receiver. I will let you know. Thanks
Is the Onkyo newer (for 3D)? Or older. I have an older Onkyo (7 series) that I have yet to try and pass 3D through as I understand if it is not the newer HDMI spec then it won't work >
to Satelliteguys jzalkin!I don't have a 3D television, but it's my understanding that HDMI 1.3 will handle 3D, but not with 1080p, only 1080i. HDMI 1.4 does "full" 3D at 1080p.
